In fact, this whole situation is giving us an existential crisis. Salahi attempted to bust into the White House -¦but she’s doing a kind thing. While there was a significant dip in mayhem while Lindsay Lohan was in jail/rehab, it seems now that the Machete actress is committed to making up for lost time. According to two eye witnesses, Wednesday evening Lindsay Lohan side-swiped a baby stroller in her Maserati-¦and just kept going. Says eye witness Brayan Jaime, “There was a woman pushing a kid in the stroller, maybe a two or three-year-old, crossing the street. Lindsay took the red light and hit the stroller. It wasn’t super hard, but she made impact and hit them.” Oh, Lindsay, no. Can we please start some sort of volunteer program where we all rotate who has to chauffeur Lindsay around, rather than let her drive? We can make a giant chore wheel with everyone in America’s name on it and put it on the White House fridge or something. It’s at least worth a try!
This is already Lindsay’s second traffic incident since she was released from rehab; last weekend Lohan ran a stop sign while reportedly speeding. Only Lindsay can average one crime a week and still be doing significantly better than before she went to jail. When asked about the incident, Lohan said, “I don’t know what you’re talking about”. Which just goes to show, when you’re blowing through seven to nine baby strollers a month, it’s pretty hard to keep track of all of them.

Emma Watson Has Clearly Never Read Twilight |

We are Harry Potter nerds, and as such, anyone involved in the franchise can do no wrong in our eyes. However, we found a quote from a recent interview with Emma Watson to be kind of peculiar. Emma explained the romantic element of the final Potter films, she said “This kiss between Hermione and Ron is highly anticipated, it’s been building up for eight films now. And Harry Potter is not Twilight, you know; we’re not selling sex.” Don’t get us wrong, we love everything about Emma, we love her new pixie hair, and mostly we love Hermione Granger, but we found this to be weird, since Twilight is 3,000 pages of sexual tension and about 2 pages of island sex.
These are the books where the main characters do it all of two times (in no gratuitous detail, thanks for nothing, Stephenie Meyer) before a monster starts growing inside Bella, trying to punch, kick and eat it’s way out. Sure, there’s the mental image of Robert Pattinson biting his pillow to downy bits which we’d pay good money to see, but there’s only about 2% more sex in Twilight than there is in Harry Potter. Just, you know, to clarify. Of course we don’t blame Emma for not reading the books, girlfriend has movies to shoot and Ivy League universities to attend.

Anyone familiar with The Twilight Saga has always had plenty of questions about the Breaking Dawn birth scene: How will they film it? What are they going to show? How many gallons of fake blood will the prop department drizzle over Kristen Stewart? Well guys, get ready to watch the scene with your hands clamped over your eyes like you’d hoped, because according to screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg and director Bill Condon, the Breaking Dawn birth scene is going to be every bit as jaw-dropping as the original.
Says Rosenberg, “We’re working on it. And we’re working on it to be as intense as it is in the book.” We appreciate their refusal to cop out on such an important scene; it´s an integral part of the final book, even if it does require Robert Pattinson to “assist the delivery” in a way that would make even the most hard-core horror fan shudder.
Adds Rosenberg,”I don’t think it’s about the amount of blood you show,” she says. “It’s on their faces. It’s all from Bella’s point of view when you’re seeing what’s going
[on]. It should feel visceral. I think it’s going to be pretty intense.” We can’t wait! We just have to remember to bring our smelling salts to the movie theater; we don´t want the usher to worry if we fall into a dead faint. Which we almost certainly will.

Michael Douglas getting cancer came as a nasty surprise for everyone. Most of all to his wife, Catherine Zeta-Jones, who has a bone to pick with his doctors. We would too. She revealed, “It makes me furious they didn’t detect it earlier. He sought every option and nothing was found.” Apparently, Douglas had been steadily complaining about pain in his ear and throat. Catherine is incredibly surprised none of the doctors found anything then, because it was only three weeks later that a walnut-sized tumor was found under his tongue. And they were ready for the bad news, it seems, she added, “It wasn’t a huge shock. I knew something was up. He knew something was up.”
Unfortunately Douglas’ cancer is at stage four and has spread to his neck and parts of his head but he still has an incredibly positive attitude, telling David Letterman, “I’m treating this as a curable disease. It’s a fight. I’ll beat this.”
Zeta-Jones understandably has taken the news hard telling People, “The hardest part is seeing his fatigue, because Michael is never tired.” Our prayers are with both of them, and as Zeta-Jones also added, “if there’s anything Michael has, it’s strength.” Amen to that.

Everyone has their own thoughts about adorable Taylor Swift, four-time Grammy winner and current VMA nominee. For example, in the opinion of Black Crowes‘ front man and Kate Hudson’s ex Chris Robinson, Taylor Swift is everything that’s terrible about modern music.
Snarls Robinson, “I find it embarrassing that adults are like, ‘Taylor Swift is very talented.’ She’s not. She might be cute, but she’s horrible.” Ouch! How weird is it that Robinson would even bother to go after Taylor in the first place? It’s not like most 14-year-old girls are on iTunes agonizing over whether to buy Swift’s new single “Mine” or the Black Crowes´ “Croweology”. He’s not going to pull any fans to his side this way.
Robinson’s main issue with Swift and other (popular) artists are that “they have stylists who dress them, they make records with producers who play a chord into the computer and it all comes out the same… When you have computers doing it all for you… there’s no individuality. Singing isn’t always about being on key; it’s about emotionality (sic).” It’s about emotionality, people. O, but not the emotions of a love-struck 20-year-old girl, of course; just the emotionality of middle-aged hippies with tie-dyed tops and Jesus hair. We respect Robinson’s right to jam out without the aid of GarageBand or a professional beard wrangler, but please. Let the children be.

Apparently she and Maxwell have been up in each others’ pants for 6 months, and he is gonna freak his sh*t when he finds out his model love is bumpin’ uglies with Kanye, OMG!!! (As we noted earlier, Kanye was stuck sitting in front of Chuck and Vanessa from Gossip Girl, the poor guy.)
The “proof:” the above photo of Kanye and Selita sitting together chastely at the US Open and an anonymous source who could be anyone from my cat to me to Maxwell himself. Or, as we in the blogging world like to call it: “jumping to conclusions.”
Now, for all we know Kanye and Selita could have left the US Open and done it every which way all night long. But from what we have seen and read, there’s nothing that points us in that direction. And even if it is true, who cares? He’s Kanye West, guys, he does what he wants. It’s called the Taylor Swift moment and it rocked America to its core for 20 seconds last year. And frankly, Selita is a grown-ass woman who’s proven herself to be smart and savvy (example a): she got into Colombia, example b): she got rid of Nick Cannon), so if she wants to bone the biggest ego in America, so be it.

Well, it’s official. The world has turned into some kind of creepy, futuristic Terry Gilliam movie where people can morph into other people. At least, that’s what we’re getting from this story about Bulgarian Big Brother star Penio Daskalov, who wants to get a sex change and plastic surgery to look like his idol, Lady Gaga.
Daskalov wants a music career of his own (so why not look exactly like a pop star that already exists, right?), but he thinks this will give him an edge over the competition. He says “I really admire the way she has created herself, so when I’ve had my operations I won’t be quite a man or quite a woman.” Hey, if s/he’s any good they’ll have to create a genderless Grammy category for him/her/Prince symbol.
Daskalov also says that he doesn’t want to just look like Gaga, he wants to perform with her. “I’ve already contacted her management and told them what I am doing and how I’d like to record a duet with her.” Management has not yet responded. While Gaga is all about her fans (sorry, her little monsters), we wonder what she thinks of this particular form of imitation/flattery/insanity.

Well this isn’t great news to break while you’re expecting a new baby: a new book claims that John Travolta has cheated on Kelly Preston repeatedly with men throughout their nineteen-year marriage. The book is entitled “You’ll Never Spa In This Town Again” so take these claims with a grain of salt scrub, we guess, because the author, Robert Randolph, says that Travolta’s indiscretions are the stuff of legend. Says Randolph “John Travolta has been cheating on Kelly for years! And when the details emerge, he’s gonna make Tiger Woods look like a boy scout.” Well, that can’t be good.
The Travolta gay rumors have persisted for years, as have the rumors that Scientology is just a brainwashing attempt to “turn” people in denial straight, and Travolta is level five Thetan or whatever - basically he’s a black belt in Scientology. But a book about a secret gay spa subculture (seriously!) which brazenly makes accusations against someone as famous as Travolta is big. One thing making this rumor appear more fact than fiction: a photo that the National Enquirer has of Travolta kissing another man. No word on whether Travolta will sue over the allegations like fellow Scientologist Tom Cruise did when he was accused of having a gay affair a few years ago, but one this is for sure: if this story’s true, our minds will apparently not be the only things that have been blown.

Celebrate 9.02.10 With A Then And Now Retropective Of 90210 |

For those of you who have yet to look at a calendar this morning, today’s date is September 2, 2010. Or, if you’re the type who prefers both brevity and decimal points, 9.02.10. In honor of such a momentous date, we thought we would pay tribute to the all-star cast of one of the greatest creative achievements of our lifetimes, Beverly Hills, 90210. (After all, it’s now or never; most of us won’t be around to celebrate the next time this date rolls around!)
It has been nearly 20 years since the show debuted on the (then fledgling) Fox Network, and it’s fair to say that none of our lives have been the same since. Dylan McKay and Brandon Walsh taught young men everywhere that nothing is more attractive than the combination of brooding glares and bitchin’ sideburns, and Brenda Walsh, Kelly Taylor and Donna Martin (Graduates!) proved to be some of the era’s biggest fashion icons (even if we laugh at their sundresses and chokers now).
So, won’t you join us as we take a trip down memory lane and through the halls of West Beverly High as we investigate how the show’s core cast members and impressive roster of guest stars (Hilary Swank! Ryan Seacrest! Um, Jamie Walters?!?) looked then and what they look like now. May the bridges we burn lead the way!

Where do we even begin? Because Jersey Shore shenanigans completely fry us! Ok, the best place to start is right from the beginning. In this case it would be Snooki´s new boyfriend Jeff Miranda’s infamous magazine cover proposal. We doubt the lady in question makes the right choices (hello, arrest for disorderly conduct) but in this case Snooki, did good by saying thanks, but no thanks.
Jeffy here has some major (alleged) baggage here. Expected, of course ’cause what’s the Jersey Shore (and Snooki) without mayjah drama. And the Snickers BF gives us no shortage, trust us. He apparently loves ’swinger’ parties, and the sleaziest ones, of course. He supposedly held a gun at his ex’s head and got served with a restraining order. And tried to get on with Snooki’s housemate Angelina.
And, charming gentleman that he is, he had to respond to Angelina’s news (read: vitriol) in the only way he knew how. In Steppin’ Out, the same magazine he proposed to Snooki on, he stated eloquently, “Nobody cares about her anymore. She’s spreading lies about me to get attention. But she’s very jealous of me and Nicole (Snooki). She should just f**k off. She thinks I’m interested in her, but you would think if I were interested in her we would be dating. I’m not into her. She’s a b*tch.”
Oh and that’s not all. You didn’t think he would be succinct, did you? He added, “…I was never with her sexually. I had a friend who hooked up with her friend and that’s about it. I took a few pictures with her and she feel in love with me. She thought I was a sexy Guido. I tried to be nice to her, but she got the wrong idea. Now she’s jealous. She’s a cock blocker. She needs to get a life. I’m tired of her trash talking…”
Well, Jeffy, be careful with what you wish for. ‘Cause she moved from trash talking to the next level of CRAZY and it’s probably because of all the wonderful things you said about her. Miss Angelina apparently smashed a microphone on Miranda’s face at at the Sapphire Gentlemen´s Club in New York yesterday. She was filming a web broadcast with Chaunce Hayden when Miranda turned up and started sh*t up. Hayden revealed, “Jeff was yelling that Angelina was jealous of his relationship with Snooki and that she is trying to break them up so she can date him.”
And that’s when she went bananas he added, “Angelina grabbed the microphone and started smashing him in the face with it over and over? She hit him at least three times in his face. She was screaming and swearing, -˜I´m going to kill you, you´re a f**king liar.” Wow. *Hardly breathing*
Apparently Jeff didn’t try to defend himself because it all hit him (pun intended) by surprise. Hayden continues, “He looked stunned. He stood up like he was going to hit her and a group of people stopped him. She took all the booze on the table and started pouring it in his face and blinded him. I never saw somebody get beat that bad.” Chaunce also said that his face was so swollen he couldn’t speak probably even though he tried to mutter “I’m going to sue her”.
Woah. If this is true… then… Woah. I mean, we all know that Angelina is a slapper…but this is just insane.

P Diddy Sued For $12 Million |
|
|
Diddy did, Diddy didn’t? That is the question. And it’s now up to the courts to decide. The issue is that P Diddy is being sued for $12 million by an ex Bad Boy label employee claiming discrimination.
As always there are two sides to the story. The law-suit happy side has Francesca Spero suing bad boy Sean Combs (Puffy, Puff, Diddy and whatever else we’ve missed) for firing her based on that fact that she was old and disabled. And she’s totes going for the emotional response, we may add.
She’s stating that she worked with the company from 1998 and was doing her job as a high-flying executive very well. The story she’s relating that’s responsible for all this legal talk is that she needed urgent hip surgery in 2008. Unfortunately she went through a bad patch post, after she ”suffered a relapse” with prescription meds and alcohol addictions. Now that’s when the trouble really started because Diddy was ”unsympathetic to her condition” which led to him giving her the axe. And to add insult to injury she was the replaced by a much younger woman who Spero claims ”lacked the skill set and experience Spero brought to the position.” Sour grapes, much?
Diddy’s side has a spokesperson giving his view straight-up stating, “This is a grab for money by someone who concedes in her complaint to having had a drug relapse while on the job and an employer who was not satisfied with her work.” Ouch. About the discrimination claims, it was added that, “There are many reasons why Ms. Spero is no longer employed by Bad Boy, but age discrimination is not one of them.”
Question is…which side do you believe?

Newly Weds T.I. And Tameka Arrested For Possession |

What a way to start a life together. TMZ reports that rapper T.I. and his wife Tameka Cottle were just arrested around 10.30pm last night on the alleged charges of possession of a controlled substance. Way to celebrate a one month anniversary! T.I. and “Tiny” were thrice-married a month ago, remember?
By the looks of it, it doesn’t sound good for the couple at all. T.I’s already on probation! When cops from the L.A County Sheriff’s department pulled them over, they apparently smelled pot which led to them searching the Maybach double-T were rolling in. They must’ve found something because they ending up slapping cuffs on them. Bail has been set to $10,000. This is developing, so stay tuned.

In the past Ashton admitted to being a “slut” prior to meeting his significantly older wife. But let’s be serious here: who would be foolish enough to risk blowing it with Demi Moore? The woman is 47-years-old and still looks she should be grinding in a Van Halen video. We’re inclined to think that the “gorgeous girl” Ashton was spotted with was just Demi in low lighting. Moore has such serious Benjamin Button magic working for her, next year they’re going to report Ashton was caught making out with a high school student. Good luck Twitter-explaining that from a holding cell, Kutcher.
